Why is it important to you to raise the importance of women in the aviation industry?
Raising the importance of women in the aviation industry is essential to me because diversity drives innovation and progress. Women bring unique perspectives, skills, and leadership styles that enrich the industry and create more balanced and inclusive teams. Aviation has traditionally been male-dominated, and while there have been great strides, there’s still a long way to go in achieving true gender equality. Highlighting the role of women not only inspires future generations but also breaks down stereotypes, showing that careers in aviation - whether in design, engineering, piloting, or leadership are for anyone with passion and talent.

What would your advice be to younger women trying to break into the aviation industry?
Believe in your abilities, stay curious, and never shy away from challenges. Build a strong foundation of skills, seek out mentors, and connect with others who share your passion.

What do you love most about working in the aviation industry?
The sense of wonder and possibility it embodies. Aviation is built on the dream of defying gravity and connecting people across the globe, and being part of that dream is truly inspiring. Every day I get to work in a field that blends cutting-edge technology, intricate design, and boundless creativity. What makes it even more special is the people. The aviation industry is full of passionate, driven individuals who are as fascinated by flight as I am. Collaborating with engineers, designers, and craftspeople who share the same dedication and vision is incredibly rewarding. It’s a community that thrives on innovation and pushes the boundaries of what’s possible. For me, designing aircraft interiors is about more than aesthetics - it’s about creating spaces that elevate the experience of flying and make dreams of luxury and comfort at 40,000 feet a reality. Being part of an industry that turns imagination into something tangible is what fuels my passion every day.
