Aino Grapin joins the Water Revolution Foundation Board

Winch Design is delighted to announce that Aino Grapin, CEO of Winch Design, has joined the Board of Directors of the Water Revolution Foundation (WRF). The WRF was established to drive transformative change within the superyacht industry by fostering collaboration and innovation. Its mission is to neutralize the industry's ecological footprint while safeguarding the world’s precious oceans for future generations.

Aino joins an exceptional group of superyacht leaders on the WRF board, including Henk de Vries (Chair), Peter Lürssen, Martin Redmayne, Philippe Briand, Martin Redmayne, Carolina Corral, Vienna Eleuteri and Louis van Beurden. The foundations’ daily operations are managed by a dedicated group of sustainability experts, led by Robert van Tol. 

Winch Design has been a proud supporter of the WRF since its inception, collaborating on research to verify sustainable materials. Aino has also chaired the Sustainable Yacht Design Taskforce from its launch, championing the creation of a new generation of eco-friendly yachts by encouraging designers and naval architects to share innovative solutions and best practices.
