Winch designed Amels 60 embarks on sea trials
The latest Amels 60 (hull number 3) has begun a series of sea trials on the North Sea. With a Winch Design interior and an Espen Øino exterior, the 830GT superyacht offers a generous arrangement with room for up to 12 guests and 13 crew. The Amels 60 follows in the footsteps of Come Together, the first in the Amels 60 series with a Winch Design interior and a recent winner at the BOAT International World Superyacht Awards in Istanbul last month.
The Amels 60 has one of the largest sun decks in this size range at 162 square metres, with a Jacuzzi, a shaded dining table and bar, a fully-equipped outdoor kitchen, teppanyaki grill and a cinematic set-up for film nights. The versatile touch and go helipad doubles up as a sunbathing spot or a unique gym area. The Owner’s suite, positioned on the main deck has a large seven square metre balcony, a full beam bathroom and a walk-in closet on the forward side. The four guest suites can be found on the guest deck alongside the beach club. The Beach Club features access to the swim platform, a sauna, steam shower and ample storage for water toys. Two luxury tenders can also be stowed out of sight on the foredeck.
The Amels 60 is fitted with the most advanced hybrid propulsion system, which not only reduces fuel consumption and exhaust emissions, but also protects the lifespan of the generators and main engines. In addition, vibration and noise are greatly reduced.
The new 60m superyacht is currently for sale at Damen Yachting and on track to be completed in August 2023.
