Following the great success of the Cannes Yachting Festival last week, The Winch Design team are excited to continue the momentum and are looking forward to attending The 2021 Monaco Yacht Show.
Following a year of show cancellations, it's not only fantastic to be attending the show in person but also to be participating in the new Design and Innovation Hub and presenting the exceptional M/Y Maori 80. Winch is also pleased to offer a first look into the interior of the inimitable M/Y Somnio, the 222m Megayacht that's taken the world by storm.
We are delighted to being showcasing some of our current work and upcoming projects and concepts for the first time at The Monaco Yacht Show at the inaugural Design & Innovation Hub. It's a wonderful opportunity to share a glimpse of some of the designs on our drawing boards at the world's most esteemed Yacht Show.
Our latest delivery, the Maori 80 will be on show with Maori Yachts at Quai Jarlan JO1. With exceptional speed, power and sporting prowess at its heart, she is a thrilling addition to the Winch Design fleet, first unveiled to the world in Cannes last week. She is the studio's first Day boat and features a bold and assertive exterior design by Marco Ciampa and a minimalistic, customizable Japanese-influenced interior by Winch. A well-balanced symmetry has been achieved onboard and the harmonious blend of natural materials such as light oaks with brushed bronzed details has created a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere throughout. Maori 80 combines remarkable performance with thoughtful functionality and the team at Winch would like to thank Maori Yachts for their hard work in successfully delivering this cutting-edge yacht.
Aino Grapin, CEO, Winch Design, will also be speaking alongside Jonathan Beckett (Burgess), Michael Breman (Lürssen) and Rose Damen (Damen/Amels Shipyard) on Tuesday 21st as part of the Business Report Panel in this year's Monaco Yacht Summit.
