Winch Design at the Monaco Yacht Show
The Winch Design team are looking forward to this year's Monaco Yacht Show, taking place from 23rd-26th September.
A number of Winch designed yachts are attending the show, including recently launched QU2, a 60m in the Amels Limited Editions series and Synthesis, a 74m in the Amels 242 Limited Editions series, delivered in 2021.
Also making its debut is Arc in Colour, our latest collaboration with Summit Furniture. A vibrant new take on the Arc collection of exterior furniture, it will be available to view at the Summit Furniture stand, PP65, throughout the show.
Jim Dixon, Studio Principal for Yachts and Aviation, will be attending alongside a number of Directors and Associates from the Winch Design team.

60m QU2
The ninth hull in the Amels 60 Limited Editions series draws its inspiration from the vast beauty of the Pacific, with each deck capturing an element of the oceanic region. The result is a richly immersive interior, with spaces shaped for gathering, dining and a quiet retreat across the yacht.
A relaxed, barefoot way of living is encouraged throughout, with textural wood flooring in key areas such as the beach club inviting guests to slow down. Natural light and a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living sit at the heart of the design. Soft curves, organic forms and a gentle, sun-washed palette combine to create an atmosphere that feels calm and effortless.
QU2 will be exhibited by Damen Yachting at berth S10
74m Synthesis
The fifth yacht in the 242 Amels Limited Editions series, 74-metre Synthesis was shaped entirely around the client's vision for life on board. The interior draws from the natural world, balancing the character of the Alps with the warmth of a Miami Beach sunset. The importance of feeling connected to nature is at the heart of the interior concept and led to a number of the design decisions, focusing on connecting the interior and exterior spaces and allowing guests to feel at one with their surroundings.
Open grain natural materials and textured finishes create a tactile, organic feeling, stirring the senses of sight and touch and carefully considered artworks and room features add splashes of interest and colour into the interior spaces.
The general arrangement of Synthesis is different from the rest of the 242 Amels Limited Editions series, with room settings that can be configured in different ways, the emphasis is on a more casual lifestyle. Eliminating the main deck dining saloon was key to providing flow and a better guest experience for those accommodated on the main and lower decks. The owner’s area also breaks the mould with a forward-facing retreat that includes a private spa pool and sundeck.
Currently for sale, Synthesis will be on display at berth H15, exhibited by Burgess, Damen Yachting and Torrance Yachts
