After the past year and a half of cancelled and postponed yacht shows, Winch Design is not only excited to be attending the Cannes Yachting Festival next week but is truly humbled to be showcasing two new projects at the show too. This news follows a huge amount of work from all the design teams at Winch who have been working closely with the clients, shipyards, naval architects and fellow designers to bring these dream yachts to life and are privileged to be able to showcase their creativity and artistry to the yachting world once again. We look forward to seeing you there.

S/Y Prevail

Successfully launched this summer, the 90ft S/Y Prevail will be premiered for the first time at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, on show with Y Yachts by Michael Schmidt Yachtbau. Marking the third collaboration between Winch Design and Tripp Design, this carbon sloop features a spacious and minimalistic interior with an open plan layout and an abundance of natural light. Stylistic inspirations come from the East coast of the USA and mid-century Scandinavian influences are peppered throughout with a combination of soft leathers and light oaks, giving the interior a restrained and sophisticated elegance. She will be moored in Port Canto and we can’t wait for the world to see her.

S/Y Jeanneau Yachts 60

Launched earlier this year, Winch Design is excited to be sharing the latest collaboration in a long-standing relationship with Jeanneau and Philippe Briand, the Jeanneau Yachts 60, on show at this year's festival. This formidable trio has sold over 200 Jeanneau sailing yachts to date, a figure which is set to be bolstered once more with the latest addition to the fleet. 28 years after Winch first partnered with Jeanneau to develop the Sun Odyssey and Sun Fast fleets, this latest addition to the award-winning fleet, the Jeanneau 60, has entered a new realm of sailing yacht design, offering unrivalled customization, a sophisticated aesthetic and innovative, functional comfort. Light woods, contemporary furnishings and a harmonious colour palette enhance her modular interior, and the light filled spaces will instantly calm you as step inside. Her refined beauty, coupled with her superb practicality is a true testament to the success and passion of this long-established relationship.
Maori 80
With exceptional speed, power and sporting prowess at its heart, the new Maori 80 is a thrilling addition to the Winch Design fleet, soon to be unveiled to the world next week in Cannes. She features a bold and assertive exterior design by Marco Ciampa and a minimalistic, customizable Japanese-influenced interior by the Winch Design team. A well-balanced symmetry has been achieved onboard and the harmonious blend of natural materials such as light oaks with brushed bronzed details has created a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere throughout her interior. Maori 80 combines both remarkable performance with thoughtful functionality and the whole team at Winch would like to thank Maori Yachts for their hard work in successfully delivering this cutting-edge yacht.
