WINCH DESIGN HOSTS ROOFTOP ROW OFF EVENT IN COLLABORATION WITH TECHNOGYM TO SUPPORT THE BLUE MARINE FOUNDATION
On Thursday 26th June 2025, Winch Design collaborated with Technogym to host our first ever Rooftop Row Off event. The event brought the industry together for an afternoon and evening of wellness, friendly competition and new connections.
The row off consisted of eight teams competing in pairs across a 2000m heat using state-of-the-art Technogym rowing machines. Successful teams advanced to a 350m sprint semi-final, followed by a head-to-head 350m sprint final between the top two teams.
A huge congratulations to our Rooftop Row Off champions, Cookson Adventures, who rowed with strength and endurance to take the win. Their efforts were rewarded with a beautiful, bespoke glass trophy crafted kindly by Lasvit.
In addition to rowing, attendees could unwind with a rooftop yoga flow led by Technogym, and explore a range of their latest equipment, including their latest ‘Body Checkup’ and ‘Connected Dumbbells’.
Attendees were also encouraged to make a charitable donation in support of The Blue Marine Foundation. Winch Design is proud to work closely with Blue Marine, a charity that is dedicated to restoring the ocean to health by addressing overfishing, one of the world’s biggest environmental problems. Through raising awareness and funds, Blue Marine helps secure marine protected areas, tackle overfishing and support sustainable use of the sea to restore vital marine habitats.
Rowers and spectators celebrated into the evening with cocktails and canapés as the sun set over the rooftop, bringing a memorable close to the energising event.
