Kirsten’s deep understanding of the company and its people enables her to identify and attract exceptional talent, while ensuring the distinctive Winch culture continues to thrive in her role as Recruitment Director. She is passionate about nurturing the next generation of designers and industry professionals through Winch Design’s work experience programme and extensive university collaborations. 

With a career at Winch Design spanning more than two decades, Kirsten has been an integral part of the studio’s journey and evolution. Having joined in 1997 as an accounts assistant, she went on to spend nearly a decade as Andrew’s PA before moving into office management, recruitment, and HR, where she gained her Associate membership of the CIPD. In 2021, Kirsten became the Employee Trustee Director when Winch Design transitioned to employee ownership. She also chairs the charity committee, leading initiatives that connect Winch Design with its nominated charities through hands-on volunteering and fundraising events.
